I had this tiny Dell mouse pad at work, and it was becoming infuriating, constantly going off the sides with my mouse, so I popped onto amazon and bought one of these hoping it would stem my frustration. I was a little scared it was going to be too shiny for optical mice, but it works fantastic. The control side works excellent, and the slip side is *very* slippery if you're into that. I was skeptical about the hand rest, because I'd had gel ones before that just kind of put painful pressure on my arm, but the memory foam this comes with after about an hour or so of use comes to cradle your arm perfectly! I love it so much I bought two more for my home mac and pc.
My only complaint is the extra slippery side shows oil from my hand.

I got the ExactMat and ExactRest Bundle after thinking a lot if it is worth the money. I mean there are mouse pads for less than a buck. I can tell you one thing.... IT IS WORTH the money you are going to spend.
I use Razer Death Adder mouse and it just works great on the mouse pad. I use the smoother surface of both and there is definitely a great difference from all the other mouse pads i have used so far. There is only one thing that one might not like about the mouse pad. You have to keep it super clean to prevent scratches both on the mouse pad and on your mouse. Besides that Razer ExactMat and the Exactrest is one of the greatest budles I have ever bought so far.

I used this mouse pad for probably a year and a half before replacing it with the newer updated version relabeled the Vespula. I think this pad is actually superior as far as material used on the actual pad not the wrist rest which the decal flaked off of a few months after regular use. The Vespula is made of a plastic compound while this eXactaMat is constructed of some kind of metal. They both serve their purpose and the Vespula has yet to show how well it will hold up to everyday use (had it for about 3 days so far). I would recommend going with the Vespula if youre looking for a new mouse pad as it is newer and ALOT cheaper since the eXactaMat has been discontinued.Customer Review: DeathAdder + eXactMat = killer speed

I purchased this as part of a combo, and it has just been phenomenal. I was using a Logitech Wireless Desktop MX Duo (MX700 mouse) on a plastic mat previously and was getting a little bored with the inherent lag of a wireless solution and the small size and feel of the mat.
This mat is just the right size to fit on my desk. I now have a G15 keyboard which is a bit larger than my previous keyboard. The mat just fits between the G15 and the edge of the desk. It isn't going anywhere, either, thanks to the rest/grip and the rubber feet on the mat itself. It's nice and solid and has cleaned up pretty easily when needed. Definitely worth buying.

Here's what I think about the eXactMat:
1.It's very durable and looks long-lasting
2.Speed side is smooth and yet accurate, so I like it better than the Control
3.Looks really sweet
4.Works well with Copperhead, but also works well with other mice
5.eXactRest is very very comfortable
6.Perfect size; definitely big enough, and definitely not huge
Summary: It's a little overpriced, but very nice, and in my opinion, worth it because it is very durable. Smaller than the Razer Mantis (IMO too big), but definitely big enough. Get it and I promise you won't be disappointed.
