Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Razer Copperhead Tempest Blue 2000 Dpi Mouse with built-in MemoryCustomer Review: Razaer Copperhead Summary: 4 StarsThe Razer design and construction is quite nice, and the options for controlling DPI, sensitivity, etc via the bundled softare are excellent. Overall its a great product. I gave it four stars because its not quite as comfortable as the mouse it replaced (MS w'less Laser 6000). However, this a gaming mouse that is still pretty comfortable, looks great and works a treat. I am more than happy with the purchase.
Customer Review: Amazing Mouse Summary: 5 StarsI simply love this mouse. It has everything i could ever want in a mouse for a fair price. Everything works properly and the software was easy to install. I do have a couple complaints. The two left-click and right-click buttons are very long. Im still kinda adjusting now and then for comfort. And the two side buttons on the right hand side are nearly impossible to use, although i do believe they are for left handers. However these are minor complaints that make no difference in the long run. This is the fastest mouse i have ever own. Its just simply amazing and the Teflon feet help make it glide across your desk/mousepad. A feature i found kind of useless is the built-in memory. Im the only one using this mouse so saving different settings like DPI is well....useless :(. And last but not least, the glow! Its pretty birght, and when i turn the lights off its like a bright blue alien light. I know thats kinda silly but this mouse is just that awesome!
Customer Review: Fast, Accurate Mouse but.... Summary: 4 StarsI love the accuracy this mouse provides. The feet work wonderfully with my mouse pad, i feel very little friction (almost like mousing on ice). One of my favorite features is the on-the-fly dpi changer. The side buttons can be clicked to make the mouse move faster or slower on the screen instantly. My only problems with the mouse are: 1 sometimes the drivers freak out, 2 There is no Mac OSX support, and 3 The mouse is a little small for my bear-like-sized hand.
Customer Review: for pros Summary: 5 Starsim a PG [progamer] in basically everything and this mouse is wicked. i use the sensitivity switch to basically own like all games; e.g. high sensitivity for an FPS while spraying submachines and then swtich when i bust out the sniper rifle to low sensitivity for more accuracy (to leik pwn noobs).
yeah it's a great mouse. plus it looks awesome so all the girls who c u use it are like "omg that's an awesome mouse, u must be PG." so ya i may acutally get a gf now.
one thing i'll add though is that buying this mouse doesn't make you PG. my APM [actions per minute; last estimated around 550] is actually fast enough to feel the 8ms lag on normal mice so this was critical, and im actually PG enough to use sensitivity adjustments powerfully. you guys probably aren't, but at least if you have this mouse people would think there's a nonzero probability of u being PG [becuase all PGs need PG mice like this one]. and plus the fact that the beacon flashes this awesome blue color makes like a totally pro thing to look at in the dark once you've turned off the lights and are going to sleep; i just look at it from my bed in the dark, get totally pumped up, turn the lights back on, bust out MOHAA, pwn noobs, end up going to sleep toly late, and then failing all my exams the next day. it's pretty awesome.
so gg gl hf k thx bye. let me know if u want to play some games sometime [lol jk nub].
Customer Review: Great mouse, some durability issues Summary: 4 StarsI used this mouse for almost 2 years before it crapped out on me. During that period, it performed like a champ. Before this, I had a cheap $15 kensington, ever since I made the change I will never be able to go back to a standard optical mouse. The tracking and responsiveness on this mouse is unmatched.
The shape of this mouse takes a little getting used to. Its symmetrical design is meant to cater to both left and right handers, so it may feel awkward at first. It's also somewhat small, and thus not meant to be completely palmed. However, once you adjust it'll feel perfect and facilitate great fragging!
The buttons on the right of mouse are a little hard to access, but still usable. On-the-go sensitivity (5 dpi settings) is a big plus. Oh, and it looks awesome!
Unfortunately this mouse developed serious issues after almost 2 years. One day it just started randomly disconnecting/reconnecting itself every few minutes, which presented an intolerable problem while gaming. I tried several troublshooting techniques (reinstalling/updating drivers and firmware, reconnecting/resetting the mouse, etc.) to no avail. Ultimately, I purchased a Deathadder (also a great mouse!) as a replacement.
Overall, this mouse is a solid performer, but for the price I expected it to last me more than 2 years.
