Description of RCS Communicating Thermostat with Graphical Display RS485
The TR40 connects to, monitors and controls an HVAC mechanical system via its standard thermostat connections. It consists of two components, the Wall Display Unit (WDU) and the Thermostat Control Unit (TCU). Normal local control of the HVAC system is provided by the WDU with its typical thermostat like user interface. The TCU provides all HVAC mechanical systems outputs as well as the RS-485 remote systems interface. Separate Heat and Cool Setpoints. Up to 3 Stage Heat, 2 Stage Cool. Remote control of all functions via RS-485 remote interfaces. Backlit LCD Wall Display Unit. For standard gas/electric or heat pump HVAC systems. Replaces existing 4 or more wire thermostats without the need for additional wiring. Optional Remote Temperature Sensor.Heating & Cooling
