I was also hesitant about buying these, but they do work great and are a big help looking for stuff under the sink in particular. I used the swivel lights on my computer desk for those little areas that are always dark. They're worth the money, and if you decide to buy batteries for these, you'll probably want to get velcro to replace the 2-sided tape since it doesn't hold up that well once you've taken it off.
