The new Creative Zen fits it perfectly, just remove the foam. Sounds surprisingly good. Note the size, it was a little bigger than I expected. It is great! We travel a lot and carrying our old speaker system for the iPod took up not only room but got really heavy running through the airports. This is handy, light weight,small and has great sound.
