I am writing this review to echo the comments of the other reviews that I read before buying this product. I am very pleased with these speakers because they have very good sound quality, work well with iPods, Nanos, and Shuffles (come with pre-built cases), and quite compact to be carried around to the car, bathroom, outdoor places. The only inconvenience I found is that you have to open the speaker case to turn the switch off, which I would prefer to be on the outside. Despite of that, I think it is such a good investment for me because I always wanted something portable and inexpensive, without a lot of cords or pieces to carry around.
I chose to buy the product from J&R because they have the best price -- $39.99 with free shipping and handling. It comes with 4 AAA batteries, too. I am thinking of buying another one as a gift.

This is a great system to play your I-Pod on the go. I have tried several other speakers at more than twice the price with only half the volume.Very easy to operate and the speaker box is both small and durable.
The best part is the way you can really turn up the sound level and still get crisp clear sound. When the sound starts to get distorted you easily pop in new batteries and the sound explodes again.
My friends and I take it out to the golf course and we always have to be aware of the volume as you can hear the music from a good distance.
Fits different styles of I-Pods and holds them securely while allowing easy acess to the controls.
Everyone who hears the loud and clear sound from such a small box wants to know where to get one.
Overall a great speaker with no downside.

I purchased the iSound and was definitely impressed. Fell in love with it. The ISound Audio Vault I purchased was pink. I decided I wanted it in black.I sold my pink one. When searching for the black ISound unit, I found the IMaingo. After reading the reviews for the IMaingo, I decided to purchase it. Actually, I believed it would be equal to the ISound. I had little faith, but purchased it anyway. Visually, it looked like the same unit. To my surprise, the IMaingo won! The sound is awesome! Much clearer and crisper. The bass is awesome. Also, the volume is much louder. It was worth the investment. As said in another review.."you get what you pay for". It protects my 80gb Ipod. I LOVE MY IMAINGO. I love this little item the only thing I would have liked was an external head phone jack. I realize this is made to play through the speakers but it would be nice to just leave the Ipod in the case and plug in headphones if needed also the on/off switch is on the inside would like it better on the exterior surface for convenience over all good product and much less expensive than similar products at electronics store. Sound quality is good but don't expect stellar Stereo after all this is an in expensive item but does the job well. I love it and think the sound quality is what I expected and I am pleased with my purchase especially for the price.Customer Review: The Best Small Speaker System!!

I travel a lot and wanted a very small speaker for my Ipod that still sounded good. The IMainGo is it! It's hardly bigger than the Ipod itself and sounds amazing! No it's not a hi-fi stereo system but look at the size of the thing (not to mention the price). The sound quality and volume are fantastic. I really like that you can still use the Ipod controls without opening the case. I take mine everywhere. Buy one, you won't be disappointed.
PS- IMainGo customer service is great, I had a problem with mine and they exchanged it lightning fast, no questions asked.
