These are a huge help when also using an EZ-RJ45 crimper and ends. I know that everyone and their infant niece knows how to make ethernet cables these days, but if you're going to spend the money on network equipment I highly recommend EZ-RJ45 ends and crimping tools, as well as boots like this one here. I am a network administrator in the National Guard, and this stuff has saved me more time than I could have imagined.
