Customer Review: Great product, Mic does not work with Windows 7 or OSX on Macbook 2008 model

The title needs some explaining the microphone does work but it does not work on OSX or my boot camp partition of windows 7. It has something to do with the frequency that the macbook late 2008 model uses for the microphone input. (The 2008 model does have 2 audio jacks one for headphone and one for the microphone) Tested it on a Windows Vista computer (not apple brand) and it worked like a charm. Great quality.
For the issue I had on my mac I went out and bought at USB audio converter. Specifically the 7.1 Channel USB External Sound Card Audio Adapter here on amazon and that fixed all the issues has great sound.
Microphone sounds great on windows 7 and OSX and is perfect for gaming online. Great for TF2(Team Fortress 2) but from my understanding you will need the USB External sound card for it show up and work in Team Fortress 2. I had no luck getting the game to switch to the inline microphone jack as it would only show me the internal microphone on my laptop.
So overall it works great and if you have issues with the microphone not working go out and buy a USB External Sound Card Adapter. The model does not matter you can just get a simple one or the 5.1 or the 7.1 they all do the same thing. And for only 6 to 10 bucks it is a cheap way to solve any issues.
The headband does take some getting used to but it is very comfortable. Wore it for 9 hours straight and forgot it was on my head, if you turn up the volume you wont be able to hear a thing around you.
