I decided to give the Plantroincs Gamecom 1 PC headset a try for a few reasons:
1. Good luck with other Plantronics products in the past
2. Reports of Comfort
I'm happy to say that so far they have lived up to expectations. Good quality sound and the foam pads are much more comfortable than the faux leatherette pads found on products like logitech. I can wear these comfortably for hours even though I wear glasses. Highly recommended.

Almost 2 years later and still using the same headset. So add "durable and long lasting".

This set replaced one I bought just over two years ago. I have enjoyed them the entire time. I can wear them for up to four hours and never get the sore ear syndrome. My only complaint would be the build quality. The first pair I bought lasted just beyond the warranty period and then the microphone started transmitting at such a low sound, no one on the other end could hear me. If Plantronics beefed up the spot where the wire connects to the headphones, I think it would of lasted forever. Overall, I would still highly recommend these to anyone.Customer Review: AMAZING.

I got these on Newegg for [...] bucks with their Shell Shocker deal, but I would have bought these for 3 times the sum. Yes, the GAMECOM 1 headset has great bass. It surprised me, as I expected a cheap tinny sound. Voice is crisp and clear on these. They seem durable, but a lot of people have said that these fall apart quickly. If you don't throw them, they'll hold up. They are not rock solid, but on par with all other over-ear headphones I have used incl. Sony, Bose, etc. I got these for Team Fortress 2 and Skype. This headset is excellent quality, especially if you aren't willing to sink $100 on a gameing headset. I bought two, which was convient since my dog ate through the cord on the first pair. My husband has had a pair of these same headsets for atleast 3 years, and he had the same brand before that. The first pair he had did just stop working out of the blue one day, but he had them for 3 or 4 years. It's still better to buy a new pair of $20 ones every 3 years instead of purchasing the $100 version.Customer Review: High quality as usual

This is the second Plantronics headset I've used, and as usual the audio quality is excellent. The earphones are comfortable, although they don't fully enclose the ear. I use this product everyday for VoIP chatting and gaming, and so far it's served me well.
