So far so good after 2 months. Needed a new headset after the one I bought from Skype shorted in one ear after only a month of use. I trust Plantronics. I've bought items from them in the past and they seem to be consistent. Worth the investment. Hard to keep on my small head though. As I become more successful maybe my head will grow into them. This hooks to a Macbook Pro via USB. No errors and all sound is very clear.
The build quality is not rock solid, but if you do not step or sit on them there should be no problems. I've been using them since August 2010 with no issues at all.
Nice how they fold into a size saving shape. Plug and play; easy.

I was trying to find something that worked under linux and worked well enough to do podcasts without breaking the bank. While it did not work just plugged right into my mic/headset port (driver issue) it worked great with the USB plug it came with.
I am able to record a bi-weekly Linux Mint podcast with very little fuss and decent sound.

I use this headset when I'm on skype and my voice comes in clear and I hear the other person beautifully. One problem I do have is that it doesn't stay on my head that well but I think someone else used it and stretched it so sometimes it feels like its loose. But, nevertheless, I am very satisfied with this headset! Definitely recommend it!Customer Review: works great for skype

I bought this for talking with skype, and it works like a charm. I've worn it for about two hours comfortably. I need to restart skype if I want to switch from the internal microphone to the headset in the middle of a conversation, that is very minor inconvenience. I use it with my iBook and connect with USB. It folds up nicely too.
