I am thrilled with the sound and how well the mic works it is sensitive, but excludes room noise. I am learning a language with Rosetta Stone which is fairly sound sensitive. Even though I had a fan running and someone was using the vacum cleaner in the next room they worked well. The sound was amazing I could hear every sylable. The fold up easily and are very comfortable. Before I had a good set from Logitec which I liked and thought worked well which they did but not as good as the Platonics.Customer Review: Works great, very comfortable

These headphones work great with Dragon Naturally Speaking and for Skype phone calls. A couple of reviewers complain the cord is too long. It is long, but it allows me to sit back, relax and not be tied closely to the computer while I'm talking. Why would someone think that's a bad thing? The frame is made from light plastic. It looks like it might be fragile, but it isn't. And the lightness contributes to the comfort in using the headphones. We selected this product for a departmental need for headsets with both good sound quality and voice recognition at a reasonable price. All of the users are very pleased with this product. The sound quality and voice recognition are excellent, and the foldability enables users to easily transport the product with their laptops. Having the option of either plug or USB connection enables maximum flexibility. The cord is quite long, and comfort is good. We highly recommend this product.Customer Review: Foldable headset

I have used this set several times and communicated with others who use this same Plantronics unit. It performs entirely satisfactory- audio clarity via the mic and earphones is quite good. It is comfortable to use. Folding makes packing or carrying it while traveling convenient. I use mine without the USB (~$10 add-on) connector which adds convenience if one can't get at the computer jacks easily. All in all, an excellent value.Customer Review: Great headphones, great price

These are a bargain at this price. First of all -the most comfortable headset I've ever worn. I can get them on and off much easier and fold them or hang them up because they're lightweight. They don't pinch my head, ears, etc. Not only does the microphone achieve high accuracy with voice recognition (both in dragon and vista), but they're great for listening to music. Buy two - and give a set as a gift - that's how good these are.
