Definitely worth the money--buy it! I'm so glad I did. This stereo headset really filters out outside noise so you can truly enjoy clear, sharp notes. Elvis hasn't sounded this good in a long time. If I had it to do all over again, I'd buy the digitally enhanced headset again. Amazon quoted a delivery time of over ten days, but I received it in only three days. Wow! That's service with a smile. I first got a DSP-400 a year ago at work, for a voice over IP (telephony on the computer) project - they had reviewed several products and picked the DSP-400. It was excellent for this, and the sound was great for music as well. I bought another one to use at home.
This works as an additional sound device, so you may have to configure your player to use it instead of the computer's built-in sound device.

I bought a pair several years ago and thought they were a little pain in the butt, with having to fold them up and the "large" solid piece. They do give me what I like with gaming and music plus being able to hear my "honey" whe she needs my attention. I don't want something that blocks out everything. Of course, my place is pretty quiet anyhow :) I'd do it again :)Customer Review: Works very well

I bought this to use with Dragon Naturally Speaking 9.0. It seems to work very well, and delivers good accuracy with the program. I don't particularly like the fact that they fold up - I don't travel with them, and it makes them a little tough to get untangled at times to put on, but once they're on, they're very comfortable. I have owned this headset for over a year now and it works great. My buddies and I use a program called Teamspeak to voice chat while playing online games. After I bought my headset, three of my other friends ordered it the next day. Not sure what the other reviewers are doing with their DSP-400, but if you play online games, it is a necessity.
