One of the better headsets Ive owned to date. I play HL games and this by far is the best one for voice communication yet! Very clear, and no background noise or static at all. Very comfortable and the sound quality is awesome. the only problem is that it is foldable so it fold on you whren trying to put it on from time to time, but otherwise, it geta A+s all around. And for less than $45, it is a great deal compared to other high quality mic headsets. And trust me, I spent a lot of money on other headsets, logitech and cyber acoustics (well CA was pretty good too, but too expensive for the good pair so this Plantronics if worth it), but no one is such a good pair for such a good price. I got this headset because of problems with my soundcard and the other hardware I have in my PC system. I loaded the software first, and then installed the headphone using the ultra-easy USB plug (no way to plug it in wrong and only one plug to deal with). I played an Enya song ("Key of the Twilight") and it sounded good. I launched the included PerSomg software in the middle of listening to Enya and got hit with such a great change in the sound, I could not believe it!. This Headset is the best I have used EVER! I love having a long cord so I can move around and the carrying bag that comes with this product. IT IS THE BEST! [The MIC is good too!]Customer Review: Excellent sound and ease of use.

Excellent headphones. Good sound quality both on listening and the mic picks up well without a lot of environmental garbage. The mute is easy to use and lights up nicely to remind you that you are on mute. I had a problem on other headsets forgetting I was on mute and trying to talk to others.
The chord is nice and long to allow fairly free movement while on the headset. On some systems I have noticed the mute light coming on after having been plugged in a long time, but unplugging the USB connection and reconnecting clears this easily.
Well supported on XP and Vista.

I bought these headphones for use with skype and couldn't be happier. They work great, I just plugged them in and xp installed everything then I downloaded skype and started using them. No problems and nothing to configure. I made a few test calls and nobody even realised that I was calling from a computer with headphones. I see where some people said they were uncomfortable but I found them to be very comfortable. They didn't squeeze your head like some others I have used, maybe they changed the design or something. All in all I find these to be a great bargain and very easy to use.Customer Review: comfortable headset if you wear glasses

We bought this headset to use with Skype. It is very comfortable - we both wear glasses. It can be comfortably worn for hours at time. We're told by friends it sounds better than the phone headset we used to use.
Some reviewers have complained about the long cord. I like it since it gives me some mobility around the room rather than tied to the computer.
There are more expensive headsets to be sure; however this is an excellent headset for the money - many grades above those cheap headsets!
