i feel that my plantronics ct 12 is simply the best headset home phone i've ever had. i love hands free phone communication and have had others that are nowhere near the comfort and ease of my plantronics and as i found out later it is digitally encoded so now i feel safer with my information. if you watch ace of cakes on food network, mary alice has one she uses at the business also. with the fire fly on the mic boom now people know i'm on the phone and not just talking to myself. -kCustomer Review: my review

I was a little curious and dubious if my plantronics ct12 would work with a home phone provider like Vonage with the voip technology. But to my surprise it works just like anyother regular phone line would with the ct12. This phone is VERY ergonomical whether you're a multi-tasker or not along with great clarity and range in your home. I've dropped the remote unit more than once and it still works like the day I got it. If you want a true wireless, hands free phone, this is the one!!!Customer Review: Does what I want it to

I'm not sure what some of the other complaints are all about. This is a great phone if you want a compact headset phone. I have a basic AT&T wirless router and I can use the phone without any disruption of my wireless network. The sound quality is great for me and the people I talk to most regularly say that they can hear me well. It's WAY better than my last cordless phone even without a headset.
Plantronics makes good products and this is no exception.

I love the features of the blinking light when I'm on the phone and that it blinks when I have a call waiting on my message center. The features of the CT12 are better than my past CT10, as when I keep knocking the phone off my belt it doesn't create a hardship on the wiring to the battery (if I develop a problem by my clumsiness, it will be on the headset wire) and the clip to my belt is separate and not a plastic feature to break like on the CT10. I work from home and use this phone everyday. The sound quality is good and ease of use is good. The battery will last for 2 solid hours of talking (conference calls)... but if more than that, you better have a back-up phone on the same line to use. I have no complaints and will disconnect the "headset" and plug into another cordless phone I have after wearing the battery in this one all the way down. Would reccommend this product to anyone.
