Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Plantronics CT12 2.4 GHz DSS Cordless Headset Phone with Caller IDCustomer Review: Lightweight, Clear, FeatureRich, Long Life TalkTime! Summary: 5 Stars
For hands free walkabout capabilities this product shines. There does not appear to be any competing products with the wired headset connected to a dialer element first of all. My older "like" phone died and I wanted at least the same capabilities. This phone had it all: a light headset that adjusts very easily, clarity in sound for speaking and listening, LONG talk time on the battery that is stock with the phone, caller ID for incoming calls (while on line). Price is not cheap, but I do get the value from it I need to justify the price I paid.
Customer Review: Fantastic for Home Office! Summary: 5 Stars
This phone has been so great for me. It is lightweight, clips on easily or slips into a pocket, and I can talk on the phone all day with no problems! The sound quality is excellent and the noise cancellation reportedly is great. I would certainly recommend this phone to anyone who doesn't want to hold a receiver while talking. I prefer the over the head headset to the one that goes over the ear simply because the one over the ear doesn't feel very secure. The over the head model is VERY comfortable and often I even forget it's there.
Customer Review: Great phones! Summary: 5 Stars
I tried several headset phones without success ... poor range and battery life seemed inevitable. Then I purchased a CT12, and it worked so well my wife wanted one too! We've had two of them for the last couple years and they have worked perfectly.
The headset is comfortable and it's easy to hear and be heard, it is feather-weight and the battery lasts for hours. They reach all parts of the house and yard, and there's no problem using two of them simultaneously (they completely ignore one another).

Customer Review: Network Interference is a setup problem with the router Summary: 5 Stars
If your headset is interfering with wireless network, then you need to change the "channel" the headset or the router is using so that they don't interfere with each other.
From the manual:
If you encounter interference while using your phone [or other 2.4GHz equipment], you can manually change the phone's channel for clear operation. This function works only when the phone is in use. Press SELECT/CH. "Scanning" appears on the display, indicating the phone is changing to another channel.
Customer Review: Plantronic cordless headset -- reliable, clear, convenient Summary: 5 Stars
The Plantronics CT12 works better than imagined. It provides clear voice reception and conversation partners report the same. Never any problems such as static noise or low battery. Best of all, it relieves the burden of holding a handset to the ear, especially during long conversations. Obviously, it's nice to free up both hands for shuffling through files or looking for other things. After a few months, I was so happy with mine, that I bought two for my father, who is now equally enthusiastic.
