Purchased for my wife who has had big, bulky cordless headset phones in the past. These never lasted long given that they constantly fell from the hip ripping the headset apart from the phone. This unit however is probably smaller than a deck of cards. Fits easily in the pocket and has crystal clear reception from anywhere inside (and outside of) the house. Also the headset is not hardwired to the unit making it easily replaceable if anything should go wrong. Has many of the configuration/settings options that a current cellular phone has and makes working from home a pleasure.Customer Review: better than radio shack

I bought two from radio shack neither lasted a year. Both times I started hearing a crackle in the line after 6 months. Then Id mess with the connection for awhile to make it work. Well when I got this and used it for a few days I threw the other one against a wall! So my advice is not to buy one of these kinds of phones from radio shack.
this phone is awesome. Great sound both ways. Very clear and loud. Way better than any phone I have ever used. Sounds like I am on a corded phone. Comfy and compact. The buttons are small but so are my fingers so it works out for me.

As expected, Plantronics comes through again. I found I spend so much time on the phone that I needed a second CT12. I have them sit side-by-side, and there is no interference between the two phones whatsoever. My newest CT12 gives me the same excellent performance as the first CT12 and my original CT10. I have used Plantronics for over 6 years and have nothing but praise for the excellent quality of their products. These phones can take a beating, like being dropped on tile floors, and keep on working. I just wish the battery life was longer. Sigh.

I work from home and much of it is on the telephone. I am also hard of hearing. I have tried numerous phones with headsets, none of which had enough volume to overcome my hearing loss. In 2001 I found this Plantronics model and it has been a gem. In 2008 after a local search for a new phone that I could hear proved fruitless, I bought the Plantronics again. Once I had the second phone, I tested all the parts to see what it was that "broke" on the original phone. It turned out to be the step-down plug. So now I have two Plantronics phones and am glad of it!Customer Review: Absolutely Perfect

I have several wireless phones, but I simply adore this little one. I like that it is so tiny and so convenient to carry around, so I don't have to run to get the phone when it rings. I like that I can talk on it and walk around and have my hands free. I'm also thrilled that when I attend teleseminars or do an hour long hypnosis sessions over the phone, my hands and shoulders are now free from discomfort. I read some reviews where people mentioned that the headset is uncomfortable. I have found it wonderfully comfortable and the sound is crystal clear.
