Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Plantronics CT12 2.4 GHz DSS Cordless Headset Phone with Caller IDCustomer Review: No more sore neck Summary: 5 Stars
I love this phone. I had an older plantronics headset for years but it finally wore out. I work from home quite a bit and am using the phone for meetings frequently. The headset is a must. Works great...mute is simple to deal with and has a decent range.
My only complaint about this product compared to the previous one I had is that you can't have it on the charger while in use...it hangs up. This limits the time you can use the phone without charging though to this point I've not hit that limit even after 2 hour calls.
Oh, the other problem I have noticed is that when receiving a call my Linksys wireless router will disconnect. Not an issue when placing calls though.
Customer Review: IT User-Great For Office Summary: 5 Stars
I am the IT (internal help desk) at work. I LOVE this phone. I hang it around my neck (lady, no belt to hang it on) and never miss a call. I'm frequently as someone else's desk working on their computer, so this is a perfect solution for me. Indepensible when calling tech support! I also have one at home and love it. Audio is better than my regular phone at work or home, but I use the headset. I also found the earpiece uncomforable and tough to get on in a hurry. It's still the best phone available! No one I call on it realizes I'm on a headset, while my former at home phone it was obvious, and I often had to switch off my headset to the handheld for quality audio. BUY IT!
Customer Review: Works Fine With Wireless Networking Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great cordless phone, for all the reasons stated by other reviewers. I just want to refute the previous claim that this phone interferes with wireless networking. Maybe it does with some wireless routers, but I've had no problems at all with my Linksys router. I sit less than two feet from my wireless router, I use the phone all the time, and I've had no problems whatever. I had to change the channel my wireless router uses, but that is a quick and minor fix. So don't discount this phone because you are afraid it will interfere with your wireless network. If you configure it properly, there is no reason there should be any issues.
Customer Review: Love this phone!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I just love this phone. Have been working from home for several years now. Always seemed to have issues with headset phones (The range was not long enough, the audio was not clear, others could not hear me well, etc.). This phone has resolved it all. It has a longer reach than any of my other cordless phones. Each day I am constantly on conference calls (Hours a day). Others now hear me clearly and it is easy for me to move around. Features are very easy to use (Including the mute feature). Simply place the phone in the cradle when not in use (Nice I don't have to disconnect anything). Easy to get and answer any incoming calls. Great phone!
Customer Review: Satisfied with purchase Summary: 5 Stars
I use this in my business office. The headset is comfortable; I forget it's on. The keypad module is so small that it rides in my shirt pocket without falling out when I bend over. Usually. I am a little hard of hearing but the volume is more than adequate. Sound is good. Microwave oven disrupts at a considerable distance. Buttons are tiny but I don't care. I quit using my other phone. I need to figure out how to store frequently-called numbers. The only thing I miss from my old main phone is its 100-number memory. Its drawbacks are small price to pay for the freedom. I also considered the CS-351.
