Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Plantronics CT12 2.4 GHz DSS Cordless Headset Phone with Caller IDCustomer Review: Small Call Center Very Please Summary: 5 Stars
Over my 16 years of managing a call Center with CheckCare, I have tried several different options and none have come close to the CT 11/12s. They work well with our PBX and we have 15 agents using them at any one time. We get occasional interference but a click of the channel button resolves the issue.
We use our normal phone to do most of the dialling and transferring. The device supports this well. The headset and phone work completing independent of each other but complete together. We can get a dial tone from either the headset of by lifting handset of the phone. We can get a dial tone from the headset, dial a number on the phone (without lifting the handset) and talk on the headset. We have also purchase a splitter for the headset, we can have one agent listening while another is working, this very helpful for training. I am not sure why someone would by another device with less features/functions and pay more....
Customer Review: Fan-Freakin-Tastic! Summary: 5 Stars
The freedom that the Plantronics CT11/12 allows is a blessing and a MUST for Home based business entrepreneurs! The reception is sheer perfection no matter where I am inside or outside of my 2 story home.
I average about 12 hour days working at home and speaking with people in other Countries flawlessly. Charging is a breeze as I just set it on the charger before I go to sleep and it's ready for another full day in the morning.
The headset is very comfortable and I love the "Firefly" feature! It's really nice when family members might begin a conversation, but as soon as they see the "Firefly" blinking they know I'm on the phone. No more crazy "sign language" or whispering to let them!
I would really like to see the Company put a safety lanyard into the set-up. I don't always wear slacks and it would be nice to have it SECURELY hanging around my neck.
Customer Review: Fantastic Cordless phone w/ Headsets Summary: 5 Stars
The is my second CT-12 that I have gotten. I have one for home-office and one for my REAL office. The clarity is solid, and can go a substantial distance from base. The little "fire-fly" light at the tip of the boom mic let's people know I'm on the phone, which is really cool. I tend to do a lot of walking around at the office when I'm on the phone, and find this product to do everything I need, and is easy to use.
BTW, battery life is EXCEPTIONAL! I have never had a cordless phone last all day long. I have never once run out of juice. I find that in and of itself amazing to me, that's why I bought another one.
Headset is very comfortable, and the mic picks just my voice up, and not the environment around me. Overall, this is the perfect phone for its type.
Customer Review: THE BEST HEADSET PHONE EVER.... Summary: 5 Stars
This is my second purchase of this phone! I must use a headset phone because of neck problems. I had this phone before and the size in fantastic, fits in a small pocket. The sound is good. I have had other headset phones and they always proved worthless after a while, static and other problems. I am also a klutz and the phones are dropped on our ceramic tile floors, wet from the kitchen counter, etc. This phone endures a LOT of torture. Customer service is great too. The first phone developed problems (due to me I'm afraid). Plantronics
sent me a replacement phone along with a mailer for the old phone so there wouldn't be a period without a phone. Love this product and trying to be more careful. I hesitated getting the phone the first time but really glad I did.
Customer Review: Great new product! Summary: 5 Stars
Big improvement over the predecessor model CT10 since Plantronics has added a caller ID feature and an in-use indicator light to this one. If you are looking for a single-line cordless telephone for your home or small office, and if you don't mind not having the option of a traditional cordless handset receiver to hold up to your ear, you will like this model. Be aware that you have to use the headset for every call (no handset), so if several members of a family use the same phone, get yourself some spare ear cushions for hygeine. The only negative is that the dial pad buttons are very, very small, so maybe I would not recommend this for some elderly users, visually impaired users or anyone who feels more comfortable with larger buttons to press.
