I like the 600w of power. A huge uprade to the 100w I had and works perfectly with your Xbox 360. With this, I completed my entertainment setup in my room. There's alot options you can tweek in the audio menu (even a sleeper timer). Changed the source of audio from your Xbox, am/fm radio (even have presets), or aux for your Ipod. Everything from videogames to my HD movies sounds great. The BASS quality is good to vibrate things in your room (no joke). And the price? Made it a must-have.Customer Review: great product

This product is an excellent, excellent surround sound HTIB system, for those of you, like me, who enjoy a bit of extra bass, the subwoofer is very adequate, especially if you pump it up a little. The remote is a little clumsy, but by fiddling around for about 15 minutes I was able to figure out everything and using if with the xbox360 has been a dream. Combined with the price this is an unbeatable buy!Customer Review: Does the job

Having never spent a considerable amount of time actually listening to a true surround sound system before, I am not an experienced audio reviewer and am in no way an "audiophile" but I would consider myself to have a pretty good ear. I had spent some time looking for a good 5.1 system to connect my xbox 360 to and, on a college student's budget, this was definitely the best option available.
Out of the box, the sound quality was incredible, everything I heard was amazing: games, movies, music. The setup was very easy for anyone who knows anything about electronics. I have never set up a sound system before and did not have a single issue with this one. One possible issue you may encounter would be hearing a slight buzzing sound from one of the speakers, this happens if you do not get the wire in all the way.
ALSO: Make sure your Xbox is set to output at Digital 5.1, the default on mine is Digital Stereo, and there is a considerable difference between the two.
I use the system with my computer as well (I use a 3.5mm out to RCA (red/white) cable) and it may just be my settings or the fact that it is an analog stereo signal, but it definitely sounds different. I would not say worse, because I mostly listen to music and I think it still sounds incredible, just not the same as when outputed by the xbox.
Using the MCACC auto calibration worked fairly well, although I though it was somewhat harsh on the Rear speakers, but it is fairly easy to adjust any of the channel levels to a volume of your liking.
The only complaint (and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) I could possibly have is that the display is somewhat difficult to use and understand at times. First, there are many different sound options to choose from, and the differences between them are not really explained anywhere but the manual, which is not very good about exactly what each sound mode is and when to use it. The display is small and has very limited information, so it is difficult to tell what sound mode you are in and what options you have enabled.

I love this system. Now it is my first 5.1 surround sound system and it has worked wonderfully. I had friends who are veteran owners of surround systems to check this system out and see if it was a good buy, and the verdict was that it is an excellent first entry surround system. I have an xbox 360 and this goes perfectly with it.
