I have a Canon Digital Rebel XT (350) which cannot be cleaned with the original Eclipse formula. I was a little concerned after reading some reviews indicating that this formula is inferior and may leave streaks. Having no choice, I bought it. It worked fine. I added a few drops to a size 2 cleaning pad, ran it across both ways as instructed, and my sensor is just as clean as the day I bought the camera (maybe cleaner.) It's an expensive product, but I don't expect to need it very often so it should last a long time.

CCD Sensor Guarantee Photographic Solutions, Inc. guarantees that its Sensor Swab and Eclipse products will cause no damage to the CCD or CMOS sensor when used in accordance with the i nstructions provided by the camera manufacturer and/or Photographic Solutions, Inc. (PS) If it is determined that these products cau sed physical damage to the sensor, PS will reimburse the camera owner for the full cost of repairsupon presentation to PS of proof o f purchase, camera manufacturer's repair invoice and the damaged sensor. Use of non-approved methods, procedures or products will vo id this warranty.
