I don't know why so many people are having problems with it. I used them on a 4/3 body (type 2 swab) and it just slides across. I had to do it twice which is normal for the wet method and now it's clean and dandy like sour candy. Just be sure to by the right size swab. If it's too small your have to go over and over, just a mess. If it's too big you won't get it in there.
Type 2 is for most
Type 3 is for full frame
Type 1 is for a few specific ones including the Fuji S_pro line.
And make sure to get the ones with E2 if your sensor has a coating. The XSI is one that has this coating.
