Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Philips HL150 Lightweight Stereo HeadphonesCustomer Review: About time to find these!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought the HL150 with the HS430, because if I liked one, I could take it back. Let me tell you, the HS430 is going back to Target, pronto.
SOUND QUALITY - Very good. The bass is pretty deep, and the highs are very clear. I can hear stuff that I couldn't hear from the MDR101LP from Sony. Also, these are LOUD!!! These are even louder than the Panasonic Wrap-Its! I'm serious. These are a true buy if you hate the headphones that came with your quiet player.
COMFORTABILITY - Very comfortable. Then yet, I've never seen the overhead style be uncomfortable. Because there the fold up ear-cup style, the are able to exactly match the ear.
PORTABILITY - They don't fold up the bend way. They fold up across, which is a bit awkward, but they do fold up, and they are very portable.
COST - I'd rather pay $9 for these, than pay for the Sony brand. I just like the Philips brand so much better because they're loud, have great sound, and are comfortable.
OVERALL - These are a great deal for people looking for new overhead type headphones. Look no futher, these are a great pick, and can fit into any budget!
Customer Review: Low price great sound Summary: 5 Stars
My first pair lasted a few yrs of hard use, so I just orderd 2 pairs. If u hav an MP3 player throw away the ear buds and get these. Good base, good rich sound and loud. Very comfortable I can wear them all day at work, and they stay on my head wen I bend over. If ur on an airplane their more than adequate, sound better than my $50 Aiwa noise canceling headphones. Update: 11-1-10 These bad boys are still kicken even after 3 extended trips overseas. And looking at the date I have had this last pair for 4 years now. I was going to purchase a few more for spares and gifts but now it seems they have more than doubled in price. The price seems to be flucuating. I still think they are a great set of head phones. I also have some $40 over the ear Phillips headphones that sound a little better, but they make my ears sweat and are too tight, but for portability, lightweight comfort and durability I reccomend these units. Maybe the price will drop again.
Customer Review: Perfect headphones Summary: 5 Stars
These headphones are exactly what I was looking for. They're lightweight and comfortable, sound quality is great and they have proven hardy. Then again, I'm not one of those people who notices a difference between a $100 sound system and a $25 sound system, but again, to me it sounds great.
It folds up nicely, and it's pretty easy to use it with one ear folded up if you want to keep "one ear open."
It comes with a larger headphone adapter which works in my Yamaha keyboard so yay for me, but I'm not really sure why such an adapter is included. It's not something I normally see with headsets.
I was also surprised at how loud these headphones could work at. It literally approaches the volume of a normal speaker if you set the volume high enough on the computer, although that is not exactly something I recommend trying while wearing.
Customer Review: Good product. Summary: 5 Stars
The sound quality is very good. It's very comfortable to wear it.Sometimes when I take it off and leave it around my neck,my hair gets stuck by the folded part, but it depends how long the back of your hair is.It's still a good product.
Customer Review: Phillips HL-150 headsets Summary: 5 Stars
These headsets are comfortable and sound good. They appear to be more rugged that the other headsets I've owned, as those have had tiny cables that break very easily. These use heavier cables, I'm very satisfied with them.
