I love this gadget! And I can't believe how flat it is! After reading all of the other reviews, I went ahead and bought it...did I say I love it? I can watch all of my favorite British shows that haven't been released in the US: Mighty Boosh, Spaced, The IT Crowd. And it has no problem with burned DVDs, either, unlike my previous machine. I was looking for a new DVD player for my bedroom when I stumbled across this one...and it worked out so well I put this product in the living room and moved my more expensive DVD player to the bedroom! It plays everything my Magnavox does, plus about 75% of the .avi files I have. Don't let the compact design fool you...this DVD player does a lot!Customer Review: Exactly what I needed

This was perfect for me! I've had it for about a month now, and so far nothing has disappointed me. If you get this DVD player I don't think you'll be disappointed either. There is one thing though (which was not a big deal for me at all), it's not multi region at first, but there is a code thing you can do and it will be. Enjoy!Customer Review: greatly recommended

it works great on all my divx videos ... the only bad thing is the remote, it is not user friendly... you have to really learn to operate the remote certainly not impossible.
If you care to go trhough the manual then thereare a lot more features to explore.

DVD Player works as a great Region Free rig once the code found in earlier reviews is typed in! Very simple to do and very effective. I now use it to view my Japanese, Chinese and Korean DVDs as well as DVDs that my other (more expensive) DVD player has trouble with.
Worth the 40 bucks!
