The clarity is amazing. I bought one for my boyfriend for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! The only problem is that I'm completely lost when it comes to technology, it was difficult for me to resize some of the pictures. I let my boyfriend do all the technical stuff and he thought it was easy to use. Guess it just depends on the person.
He keeps the frame plugged in all the time and let's the slideshow play continuously. So far, no problems. The frame never overheats and it plays perfectly. Definitely worth paying more for this one!

I have other frames and they are a convenient way to see my photos but I have never been pleased with the screen quality vs print quality. An 8 megapixel camera quality is lost on the lesser screens.
Enter this philips. It is like night and day. I am running it side by side on the same slide show and it looks like a 3 megapixel camera vs an 8 megapixel.
Oh yeah and it will operate off of the charger so viewers with eysite limitiations can pick it up and view it in their hands just like a photo.

Philips 6.5-Inch Digital Photo Frame (Clear & Black)
Perfect gift! We bought this as a gift for our grandmother who suffers from Alzheimers. We were even able to add titles and names to help her identify the subjects. Very easy setup, and beautiful picture. Loved the fact that we didn't have to keep a memory card in the frame, you can just download the pics from your card and remove it. No problems or complaints, very pleased!

This particular product has high quality resolution, a sleek design, several impressive features, and the Phillips name recognition. I purchased the Philips Digital Picture Frame for my wife this Christmas. She loves it. She has brought over two sets of different photos already. It was especially nice to take the photos we had just take of the tree and gift opening and then have them displayed all week on the frame. Now we have pictures from the New Year's party we went to.
Big hit with everyone. No problem see the images. They are bright, sharp and easy to see from all angles. Frame can be programmed to go blank after certain hours of the night.
