After reading lots of reviews and looking at lots of pictures, I chose this case (Pelican 0910-010-110) to store my SD memory cards. I'm glad I did - it is just what I wanted it to be: compact, very robust, secure storage.
I use SD cards for my digital recorder and my camera, and I don't want to have a computer with me at all times, so I need carry a few dozen gigs of storage around with me. This case will keep them safe and organized in one place.
And tough!? Yeah, I bet I could stand on this case and not damage it or the chips inside. An excellent case!

I saw the reviews about having the wrong inserts and was a little hesitant. I also read that returns were an easy fix.
Mine came with the correct insert and works great. No problems at all. It is a little big for what it holds, but I wanted to be able to find it easily in my desk drawer.
Like many (all?) other Pelican products, it is water-tight and it floats. It also came with an extra insert that gives you a large opening on one side. I am not sure what it is for though.

I was expecting something a lot cheaper and plasticky than what came from just looking at the photos. The case seems pretty indestructible. It also looks like it might be water tight (though going for a swim with your SD cards is probably still not recommended). The inserts are made of a rubber type material and grab onto SD cards very well. Cards falling out when you open it does not seem like it will be a problem as it is for most SD card cases. As for the insert thing, mine had the right insert.Customer Review: Worth the money

This memory media case is built like a tank. It is a little larger than I expected, but this is a plus for me.
It stores either CF or SD memory cards securely. It opens easily and my SD cards stay put in the process. I have had two other cases which did not hold my cards securely and occasionally cards would spill out when the case was opened.
The price is reasonable. My memory cards are secure. It is easy to open and close. What more could one ask for or expect.

like some of the other reviewers have said, this thing is bombproof. Very sturdy, well made. I've thrown it on the floor a couple times and the memory cards stay in place. Only wish they had slots for microSD (which i am carrying but in the SD Adapter). Its a great product, its not "heavy" per se, but when i picked it up for the first time it was heavier than i expected. But knowing that my pictures will be safe if i ever get run over by elephants is reassuring.
