Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Pelican 0910-015-110 Secure Digital Memory Card CaseCustomer Review: The Very Best, None Better, Pelican Knows Cases, A++ Summary: 5 Stars
The title says it all. The case hold 8 secure digitals and 16 mini's all at the same time, but unfortunatly no micro's. The micro's fit inside the sd adapters that are like regular SD's so no real need in my opinion so the case could hold 8 micros inside 8 sd adapters. Either way, this case is the best hands down. Comes with an extra rubber insert that is all flat and open so it could fit a solid state drive or some other small device or be customized to your liking. The inserts that hold the cards are durable rubber solid, rubber not pick and pluck foam but solid rubber about the same durometer as an eraser on the end of a pensil or even one of those pink erasers, perfect material to hold the cards and should last a very long time without deteriorating like foam would. No worries about anything in this case, it is the best, just find the best price and buy it.
Customer Review: Perfect SD and Mini SD Card Storage Summary: 5 Stars
I have to say I was impressed, the pictures don't do it justice. This is a Heavy Duty case. I needed a better case than the soft cases that you usually find. I lost an SD card by having it in the softcase and accidentally siting on it, the SD card did not survive. I've had a few of the metal case card holders and have squeezed them enough that they no longer close, those are so much scrap aluminum now. This case has a great weather seal and a sturdy locking latch. It is a tad on the big side, but I take durability over size any day. I don't think it would survive me driving my truck over it, but that's not on my agenda today. If you need a sturdy all weather SD/Mini SD card case, this is it. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
Customer Review: A Tank! Summary: 5 Stars
This memory card case is built like an M1 Tank! I am an avid photographer (not a Pro) I carry extra batteries, lenses, a tool kit and memory cards when I go out shooting. When I go out the door I don't like to return until I'm done shooting for the day. On a resent trip to Nicaragua I decided I needed additional memory card since I shoot in RAW and I can fill cards quickly especially on a trip like this. I ordered an additional 2 cards and this memory card case. This case has an o-ring seal and a positive lock making it waterproof. It's made out of HARD plastic. I bet it would hold up to being ran over by a tank (on dirt or sand)
And for the price, I highly recommend this case.
Customer Review: Leagues Ahead... Summary: 5 Stars
..of the other manufacturers in terms of quality of materials. I tried cases from other brands with similar TPR (thermo-plastic resin) inserts, and they all had strong vapors. This case was the only one that didn't have a noxious smell when I opened it.
This case exterior is also really good quality. It is good quality ABS plastic, built like a tank. It is waterproof as far as I can tell, so I sleep easy knowing my cards are inside.
The thermoplastic resin should also prevent any static discharge through the case. Best case I've tried, I whish there were a smaller version too. I tried the Hakuba small cases but weren't as good.
Customer Review: GREAT PROTECTION FOR YOUR MEMORY CARDS Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great investment if you have multiple SD memory cards you want to keep safe and secure and in one place. This can hold 8 SD memory cards. The outside of the case is a hard material giving it protection while the inside is made of foam that fits your memory cards tight so they won't move. Case locks shut so you won't accidently lose cards. It also appears that the case is waterproof as it is sealed all the way around the edges w/ the rubber insert (unknown how waterproof as I have not tested this out) All together this is a great case to keep your SD memory cards safe and secure.
