Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Pelican 0910-015-110 Secure Digital Memory Card CaseCustomer Review: Bulky but excellent card case Summary: 5 Stars
I had a great impression of this case the moment I received it from its package. It opens and closes very reliably. Its closing mechanism is well-designed, in a way that I expect will prevent the case from opening accidentally in my bag. My overall impression of quality and durability is that this unit is consistent with Pelican's other products. Very well designed. Something tells me this thing could survive a meteor impact.
I haven't had much real world experience with it yet. I did put it through a little bit of stress testing--throwing it against walls, dropping it on floors, stuff of that nature. I haven't once opened it yet to find the cards knocked out of their slots.
The only complaint I have is to be expected of such a durable unit: it's quite large, probably about twice as tall and a quarter wider and thicker as a comparable capacity leather wallet would be. This is a natural trade off for build quality, though, and it's once I can easily deal with. Don't expect to fit it in a tiny point-and-shoot case, though. You'll need a real camera bag or a separate waste / pocket pouch to hold this thing.
Customer Review: Empricial greatness. Summary: 5 Stars
Great product, deserving of the full power of 5 stars. Some people gave it less than five, but the world is full of people (luckily the minority) who don't really "understand." Anyone giving this less than the full five stars are probably people that need the warning labels on toasters not to take them in the bath, the bigger buttons on crosswalks, and the is surprised and enlightened by advice like "don't drink and drive," or "stay in school." I personally have put 8 SD cards in this like 1 reviewer says is near impossible. I also love the thickness as I took out one of the inserts and put in 4 SD cards and then had room for a SD card reader for my netbook when I traveled. I will look forward to using this again come fair or foul weather as it really is a great Card Holder than I would stake my travel pictures. So ticket to Angkor Wat $2,000, hotels $500, food on the trip, $400 and if you stayed in school you can add that to about $2,900...of memories I brought home in this... If you can't add those numbers up, pull your car over, sober up and go back to school, you should have stayed there.
Customer Review: Can probably survive an atomic blast. Summary: 5 Stars
===The good
Looks cool
Very well designed
Feels like it can survive a direct hit from some heavy artillery
Holds 8 SD cards
===The bad
No locking mechanism. no biggie though i guess for most people
Hard shock to case can cause it to lose the grip of the cards.

I bought 3 4g SDHC Extreme III cards recently bringing up my SD card tally to 5 cards, so i figured it was time to get a case. I looked qaround amazon and the internet for a few hours and this looked to be about the best deal on the internet. This thing is very impressivly built, it seems to be water-tight but i have not tested that. Enough room to hold 8 SD cards or 16 SD mini cards. With the newer SD cards hitting 32gb in size this should be the only case you will ever need. The cards are gripped in the rubber pads on the inside, if you hit the case hard enough you can knock the memory cards loose, but they will still be protected from the elements.
I highly reccommend this case.
Customer Review: Fantastic case! Summary: 5 Stars
Totally amazed by this product. Solid construction, Easy opening, Holds my SD cards tight. Gave it the "bounce test" and nothing inside moved. I actually tossed it up and let it hit the floor (carpet so it didn't get scratched) and not a single card came loose. I smacked it around, played catch with it, shook it, flipped it, almost anything short of damaging the case with a slam dunk to concrete and it held on tight. I believe it will do very well rattling around in my camera bag or console of my truck. Nice holder! Haven't tried yet but I know it will be water tight because as I close it I have to squeeze it shut because the rubber seal holds in air. Came with a insert for a PCMCIA card. Just would need to pop out one of the card inserts and drop in the optional PCMCIA insert. I bought 2 and might just buy 2 more for future use. I know these days a quality product never stays around for long! Well worth the money. Buy it if you want your cards to be safe.
Customer Review: Does Exactly What It Should Summary: 5 Stars
In short: This case is made by Pelican, and it shows. It is well thought through from beginning to end, and like others have said, it's built like a tank. The rubber insert problems (noted in several reviews) where the wrong inserts were included has been fixed; I got the proper SD and mini SD card inserts. The case also includes, as noted, a blank spot for small odds and ends you might want to keep safe. It's not much room, but in a pinch, it could be used to hold CF cards, an extra cell phone battery, or something of the sort.
I've also found that some other small memory cards, such as the XD memory card, also fit fairly nicely in the spots designed for SD cards.
If you're looking for a way to store your memory cards to ensure they're safe regardless of what hits them (literally), this is the way to go. It's not the smallest, or the lightest, but it's probably the strongest.
