My husband installed this mount himself in about an hour for our 52" Samsung. We have a solid wood wall behind it, so no having to search for studs. It has plenty of room though for proper positioning of our size tv to accomodate variance in stud distances. The one-touch tilt is great and you lock your angle choice in so it doesn't "droop" out of position. (It is one-touch after taking the time to unlock the nuts on both sides.) I loved paying about $250 less than Best Buy's "value" mount! Take the time to read the directions, use a level, measure twice and drill once; you will not be disappointed :-)Customer Review: awesome; note new dimensions

the newer model has an open plate design and is 34" long, rather than 31" as in product description. also the mount is black unlike shown in the picture. i had ordered this for my 58" samsung plasma pn58a550 and later was told by peerless that its not compatible, but it is perfect. i initially wondered why a heavier 58" panny would be okay but not samsung and the installation dude said he would try it first, if it doesnt fit he would use his mount, but it was good. 3 studs were located perfectly where i needed them. the tv was wall mounted this morning and looks sturdy.......no complaints!Customer Review: Great TV mount!

This mount worked great for my 42" Hitatchi plasma screen. It is very sturdy and looks good. I haven't used the tilt feature yet but it's there if I need it. The model I bought had security fasteners that include a center protrusion to prevent the use of a standard hex head tool. A special (hollow) hex tool is supplied with the mount.
The discount through Amazon for this name brand mount was impressive. The final cost to my door was about $80, with a list price of around $280.

I think this is an excellent product that is less than 1/2 the price that you would find at one of the big box stores.
Very easy to install. All you need is a level, a socket, a stud finder, and an extra set of hands when you actually need to lift the TV on the mount.
Very nicely painted and very easy to use.
The only complaint is that there appears to be a lock pin in the mount that is not easy to remove that prevents it from tilting.

Very easy to mount,and very sturdy. My TV is a samsung lcd 52". It took probably 30-45 mins to put up, the only reason it took that long, was trying figure out exactly where I wanted the TV on the wall and making sure it was level. It came with plenty of hardware, but you should buy a stud finder and a level,very important. Also I used a power drill to drive in the lag bolts into the wall, it would be a sob to do it with a screwdriver. I hope this review is helpful
