Customer Review: Check Out the Peerless 670 for Larger LCD's - Spans Three Studs!!

So glad I read the posts on Amazon. We took the advice offered by several reviewers regarding going up to the next size mount when mounting an over 50" LCD. We purchased the Peerless 670 which is actually rated for larger and heavier LCD's and plasmas. I investigated further and went to the [...] website and found that the larger mount was NOT recommended for our television. I called them on their toll free number and found out that indeed we could use the larger mount but it was not recommended on the website because it was not necessary to have such a large mount for a 52" lcd. The mount comes with tons of different screws and a tool that you use to put them in the back of your television as well as bolts, etc. The customer service person told me exactly which screws we had to use for our Sony and they worked perfectly! The wall mount spanned three studs (16" apart) perfectly! The mount allows you to move the television horizontally about 8" either way which came in great for centering it on the wall.
We hung our 52" Sony 52w3000 and and it went smoothly and was completed in less than 1.5 hours. We feel confident that this oversized and super strong bracket which is rated for holding up to a 250# television is more than adequate to hold our 95# LCD!

Purchased two of these wall mounts for my Samsung ln55B650, and my ln40A750 HDTV'S. I found the instructions very easy to understand. The brackets, and wall frame is very well constructed. The wall mount wood screws are of top quality. Once the wall mount is installed with these wood bolts, it's there to stay. The bracket screws that come with this kit are plenty. The screws, spacers fit my HDTV'S and there was no problem putting the brackets to my tv's. There are "TWO" options on tilting your brackets. One is the tension lever, and the other is a set screw. Find the angle that works best for you, set the screw and your done. For me, I used the set screw. Once your HDTV is hung on the mount, just use the long allen wrench that is provided and tighten the security screws to the bottom half of the wall mount. This secures your HDTV securely to your wall mount. Believe me, nothing nor anyone will remove your HDTV. I've read the reviews on this product, and the people who gave this product a bad review because of the instructions either didn't read the instructions or didn't understand what it was saying. To sum everything up on this product....high quality, very easy instructions, an a very very good price. You will be very pleased with this wall mount.Customer Review: Easy to install

I bought this to mount a LNT-5265f (Samsung 52" LCD). I wanted a tilting yet low profile mount and this was perfect.
All parts required for the install are included in the package.
The item was packed properly and the included hardware is individually sorted and organized, therefore saving you the time of identifying and sorting the components needed for the install.
Installation was as simple as determining the height of the mounted tv, locating studs, mounting the wall bracket to the studs, attaching brackets to tv and hoisting tv in place. Very simple.
I would like to suggest that you have the following handy for the install.
- Patience. Read the instructions completely before proceeding. This will help you avoid and problems during the install and more importantly it will aid you in planning the install (wall placement).
- A good stud detector to determine the middle of the studs for mounting. I recommend the moderately priced Zircon i65.
- A drill.
- A socket wrench.
Overall...Great product that is easy to recommend to others.
Customer Review: Sturdy and Adjustable TV Mount

I wanted a wall mount bracket with adjustable tilt for use with a Sony 52" LCD TV weighing about 72 pounds. I checked several models on the Peerless web site and confirmed that this model is compatible with the Sony TV model. In addition, I read all the technical details on the Peerless web site to convince myself this mount would work in my application. The price direct from Peerless was much higher than the Amazon price. I ordered from Amazon and received the unit in a few days. I was pleased to find out that the mount is indeed very "beefy" and rigid and would easily support the Sony TV. The frame mounted to the wall with no problems, but none of the bolts in the assortment supplied by Peerless was a perfect match to the TV. Of the two bolt types with the correct diameter and thread, one set was too short and the other was too long. I solved the problem easily by using the longer bolts with several flat washers (from Home Depot) under the heads so the bolts wouldn't bottom out in the threaded holes in the back of the TV. The TV is now mounted solidly to the wall and the tilt angle is easily adjusted.Customer Review: Awesome wall mount

I'll be honest... I didn't like the idea of dangling my $3000 investment on the wall. But after searching (with no luck) for a TV stand I decided to hit the web and do some research to find a Wall Mount. And I'm glad I did. My Sharp Aquos 52" weighs in at about 85 pounds. I wanted something that would hit at least two studs and this mount fit the bill.
Installation was easy and the instructions were pretty straight forward. Once I found the center of the studs I used my laser level to make sure this baby was level. I drilled the pilot holes for the top two screws and then secured the mount to the wall (but not all the way right). I then drilled the pilot holes for the bottom two screws.
The kit comes with plenty of screws for a variety of different TVs. The included installation instructions tells you what screws to use with your TV. Check out Peerless' website (www.peerlessindustries.com) to see if your TV is compatible with the mount.
All in all... This thing is awesome. The mount is rock solid which means... so is the TV.
