Considering the fact that it will cost you over $200 to buy an articulating Arm if you buy the one's that they peddle at BestBuy or some other electronics store, this Arm is an absolute STEAL!! It took me 20 minutes to set up and most of that was spent trying to find the beam and screw those crazy long screws in. I have my 32" LCD in a very narrow room so it HAD to go in a corner. The arm did the trick and it looks professional. I even painted the room after and didnt have to take the TV down. I just swung the Arm out one way, painted the area, and then swung it the other way. You dont even have to be any good at hanging things because if you dont put the thing up straight, no worries - The arm adjusts in just about every angle and every direction.
For the price it cant be beat. I highly reccomend!

I looked at several mounting units in the Big Box stores and they were poorly made. This Peerless mounting unit is well designed and the quality is incredible. Adjustments are easy and hold firmly. Another reason for my selecting this one was the availability of the black color to match the T.V. I helped my neighbor install a different brand a few weeks ago and after fastening the bracket to the wall we had to hold the T.V. up to the unit while trying to align the screws to attach it (Not easy). This Peerless allows you to install the bracket to the wall and then screw the mounting plate to the T.V. while it is placed on a table (padded) and then lift the Screen and slip it into the secure slot arrangement making it a one person easy install. I would buy this product again and also recommend it highly.Customer Review: Better than expected

Honestly after reading all the reviews I expected to get a great mount to attach my 32" Toshiba LCD TV to my bedroom wall. I needed an arm like this because the TV was to be mounted towards a corner and I needed to be able to point it towards the middle of the room while also tilting down some.
I was pleasantly surprised at the craftsmanship of this arm. It's machine work is probably better than alot that you'd find on an airplane's moving parts. The finish is very nice.
Attaching it to the wall was as easy as using a stud finder and level to find the right location and then screwing in the two huge screws that came with it. I do not worry about the TV coming off the wall!
Great buy! No way can a $300 mount from a big box store beat this!!!

Peerless SA740 LCD TV Wall Mount
After considerable research, I found this one to exceed requirements and expectations. Built like a tank, its articulation and design allow convenient, safe and clean wiring. At first sight, however, I was a bit concerned about the rather small distance between the foot attachment screws, thinking that 7 inches was too little. A simple calculation will show that the pull on the upper screw will be approximately 171 lbs for a 50 lb TV, and shear stress is not a problem here. But the installation was sturdy and reliable. Whatever method is used to locate the wooden stud (2"x4"), it is important to insert the screws as near as possible to the middle of the studs. Drilling of a pilot hole is not necessary if your drill has enough torque.

I ordered this mount after having purchased a similar product from Cheetah mounts, which was very dissapointing. The Cheetah mount had a good deal of sag, which I was told "was inevitable in an articulated mount". I returned it and ordered this Peerless product, and wouldn't you know it, it doesn't sag to any noticeable extent. It's extremely solid and a lot easier to move around and reorient. Very pleased with both the design and the manufacturing quality. That being said, I paid a bit extra for the model which hides the cords, and in retrospect, I wouldn't do that again since the cords are only hidden as far as the "elbow" and need to be zip-tied to the rest of the arm (for a clean look) anyway. That aside, this is an excellent product and well worth the money.
