I am so glad Amazon sells cables like this for so cheap!
I purchased this product to watch Netflix on my tv through my laptop instead of purchasing a gaming system that I will not use.
This cable works GREAT! It is like watching normal tv. The picture is wonderful!

This is by far the least expensive S-video cable out there. The only objection is that the shipping charges are almost twice what you pay for the cable, so the savings are greatest if you buy in quantity. But considering that local stores charge $19.95 for basically the same item, this product is still worth while even if you are only going to buy one.Customer Review: Good quality video

I'm using this for my laptop (to connect to my tv) and combined with a 3.5mm to RCA cable for sound. Video quality is definitely reasonable. Set resolution to 800x600 for a 27" SDTV.
Don't expect HD or anything close, but expect something on par with watching regular cable tv on a SDTV.
Worth every penny.

For less than $4 including shipping, I have no complain. It fits well on my TV and DVD player with great picture quality (way much better than RCA). No loose, noise, etc. Received within a week from CA seller. I just prefer shorter cable as my LCD TV is right on the DVD player in my bedroom but acceptable.Customer Review: Exactly what I needed
