I just plugged the cable up and will be happily watching tv off of my computer tonight. The quality was great and nothing like what some of the other reviews said, I was a bit nervous thinking I was going to end up with a snowy coaxial quality picture or something. This cable however, was just as clean and crisp as any s-video cable I've used. I'm not going to doubt some of the less pleased reviewers though. A lot of companies in all industries have certain inconsistencies with their products. Some cables come out great fine, another batch is terrible...fine. This mentality sucks and I certainly hope that's not the case here, if so make sure to let the company know to send you another cable from a "good" batch and don't let them inconvenience you with shipping the old cable back if you can.Customer Review: What a Steal.

This cable is a steal at this price. After receiving I went over to the local electronic stores and compared the plugs to the high priced cables they carried and they were as durable and in some cases looked to be more durable then the ones that the stores stocked. The cable is in no way inferior to the high priced cables. The plugs on this cable are very durable and not flimsy. They have very rugged thick rubberized coverings that lead to the solid metal connectors that are gold plated. No need to go monster when you get the same bang for quite a few less bucks.Customer Review: If you're a fan of S-Video, you're gonna LOVE this cable!

This is a rockin S-video cable. I couldn't wait for it to come in the mail. When it came I opened the package just waiting to see the black cord and the golden tips. And sure enough, WOW! it was just as black and gold as I would have thought. It fits ALL S-video connections and it works great. I can play a DVD player and watch it on my freakin' T.V. now!!! I don't know how the S-Video people do it, but it works. Also, I have had mine for a while now and it still works perfect and hasn't broke. I highly recomend this to all fans of S-Video.Customer Review: Well worth the cost

Back in the day when SVID was the "state of the art", a cable of this length would have run you about $100! Of course with HDMI or even component video being a more recent stardard, the cable has lost it's value. But in any event, I paid under $6 for this 25-foot SVID cable and it performs just as well as I'd expect. No intereference (but with digital signals, intereference is rare anyway) and a smooth, thick jacket. Just what I needed to run video signal from my PC in the basement to the TV in the living room. I purchased this cable after reading the reviews and thought to myself: "for the price, I could actually toss it if it doesn't work out". Well, it does work with just one cavaet: I installed the cable and everything on the TV was in black and white. So, I turned the cable around and everythng is now in glorious color! I really don't know why turning the cord around causes different effects, but for $1.60, who cares! It works perfectly for my video application.
