I already knew about these, and had used similar products in the past, but it's getting harder to find angle adapters for CAT-5 cable. That said, I'd been looking locally, but no one in my area was carrying them! So I got online, and afraid they'd become unavailable, I bought several of these with no pre-test. I'm using them in three places, have lost no signal strength, and am completely happy with the purchase. Well made, delivered quickly, and each packaged separately, so long-term storage wouldn't have been an issue.
For anyone struggling with the 1.5" to 2" bend that you'll get off a standard cable hookup, this is a great solution. The angle adapter moves the big bend to the side, and you're left with about 0.5" projection form the wall. In my house, one hookup is used to fit behind a cabinet, one a dresser, and the third helps the cable to lay flat before a vertical climb to a shelf where there box rests. These really are a great thing to have around in case needed, just like having the right kind of anchor for hanging shelving makes the job work better from the start.
