I am a first time Palm user. I checked out the previous versions and although cheaper, the grey scale screen just screamed "outdated and boring". Althought I originally wanted an iPaq, it was WAY too pricey and the Palm m130 does everything I really need. I read in someone else's review that you can sync it to your Microsoft Money program, and since I figured out how to do that, it has made tracking my banking, expenses, & investemts much, much easier. As a small business owner, I can also keep track of my business calendars and info separately from personal stuff. It's actually great for busy professionals/moms/dads/people on the go! With its bright colored screen, Palm M130 is really a neat gadget to walk around with! The down side is that it seems that the bright screen eats up the battery rather quickly. Despite of that it is five stars for its screen, built in 8 megs of memory and expandibility. I use it to store tons of information (drugs/ clinical database and much more) and it never fails. As I said, the only thing is that one need to be on the look out for that battery indicator. Needs daily recharging. All in all a glowing gem. PS. Palm has admitted that it does not have 65,000 colors (as initially advertised) but even with that it is petty awesome.

I've had the palm m130 for about a month now and I love it. I had the handspring visor before and find the palm much easier to use. I use it to keep my family organized (4 kids) and it's worked out great. It's very basic to use but holds tons of information from lists to the calendar to phone numbers and addresses. It's also small and the flip cover is nice since it keeps the screen clean and protects it. The rechargable battery means no more worrying about batteries running out and the color display is just easier to see. Great product without spending an arm and a leg for the more expensive color models out there!!Customer Review: Palm m130

After comparison shopping, this PDA turned out to be the best deal. Mac compatibility was a must and I had no problem even with the first hotsync. The color screen isn't the greatest, but my expectations were not that high for it. The biggest drawbacks are that accessories are not readily available in local stores yet because the model is so new, and the cool metal cases are not compatible with this model. I would highly recommend the overlays for the screen as it already seems to accumulate dust in the corners, and fingerprints and smudges are easier to see with color. ...P>I started looking for a PDA last year and finally did purchase the Palm m130 two weeks ago, after reading reviews here and other places. I showed it to my wife and she fell in love with it, so I just ordered one for her birthday!Even without my glasses I can read the screen, I've selected darker fonts where I could to help out. But for long term use... I do get out the reading glasses! I love the little Palm, does everything I expected and more. The only draw back is battery life between charges, the book said one week... I charge mine every night. It might last two days, but longer I'm not sure.
