Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Palm Tungsten E2 HandheldCustomer Review: Old, but useful Summary: 5 Stars
I totally recommend Palm Tungsten E2 for those user who like to have all information safely at hand. A Palm device can easily backup all your info in your PC while you're carrying it on the go. You can have memos, spreadsheets, jot notes, contacts, appointments, shopping list, task list and much more accessible with your fingers, just like a touch smartphone. By the way, it's worth mentioning, if you're planning to buy a smartphone, you should wait a little more for Palm Pre WebOS. But, if you want a desktop companion, you'll be pleased with Palm Tungsten E2. Old, but faithful.

Customer Review: Just what he needed! Summary: 5 Stars
I purchased this palm for my fiance for Christmas after a lot of research. He's a 23 year old window/siding salesman and it's perfect for keeping track of his appointments, plus he installed the documents to go software so he can fill out order forms in excel and get an instant calculation on site! I'm glad to see him finally organized. And this is a lot cheaper than the fancy palm pilot he would have purchased for himself. He would have bought a complicated, expensive device that's an organizer, MP3 player, phone, and camera all in one and then he'd only use the organizer anyway because he has an MP3 player, phone, and a great camera already! This works perfectly for what it's designed to do. Nothing more. Nothing less. And he loves it, which means he loves to use it! Now my sister has one too! Oh, and amazon was great!
Customer Review: I have used my palm everyday for the last 4 or 5 years. I LOVE, I could not function with out it Summary: 5 Stars
I LOVE my palm I have used it every single day for the past 4 or 5 years (maybe more). I have tried to use the calendars on my phone or ipod touch but I always go back to my palm Tungsten E2. The battery lasts a very long time and recharges quickly. I use almost every function on it, the calendar, to do list, the address book and the note pad. The functions are easily accessed by the buttons on the bottom. It is well built, it looks just the same as when I purchased it. It has been in and out of my purse, school bag, my drawer at work. I did not put a screen protecter on it and I do not have any scratches on it, I have even let my daughter draw in the note section from the time she was 4. The only problem I have had is using the sync to back up my information. It worked for awhile and then quit completely.
Customer Review: Bluetooth feature is useful with Motorola phone Summary: 5 Stars
I previously used a Treo 650 but found it awkward to use as a phone and PDA simultaneously. I couldn't easly talk and check/update the calendar at the same time. Switched to the KRZR phone and bought the E2 for scheduling. After the purchase I learned what the E2 bluetooth function can do. I now stay up with my e-mail and my bank's new mobile web site with the E2 getting online through the KRZR (using a GSM connection). The E2 will also function as a dialer with it's utility and through the contacts application. To use the E2 with the KRZR (or RAZR) the E2's software must be updated for use with more recent phones. I could use the current available update even though it came out before the KRZR since the K1 uses the same drivers as the V3 (according to a Motorola tech guy). They work well together for me anyway.
Customer Review: Wonderful! Very Pleased Summary: 5 Stars
An upgrade from the E (which had to return because of a bad screen). Same price as the E with the $50 rebate, so why not?
Nice upgrades such as using your own photo's for backgrounds, better intergrated programs, better battery life - used over a week now including at least an hour of music and barely 1/8 down.
Setting up the sync was a little tougher since I upgraded. The sync keep trying to sync my old stuff. Finally figured it out but took some time. Palm doesn't supply very good directions for set up. Especially when upgrading.
I use a Mac and sync with iCal, Address and Stickbrain. Works great.
I would most definetly get an extended warranty. PDA's are known to break down for various reasons and since you're spending $200 +/-, it's worth it!
