I was displeased with the cords that came with my Palm E2, unsightly, loose connection (can't move the palm when syncing or connection might be lost). This is a nice alternative and I don't have to plug and unplug two cords all the time. It looks nice on my desk and I personally like the light that stays on all the time. It's not distracting to me at all. I recommend this over the charger/syncronizer that came with my unit any day.Customer Review: T5 Palm cradle

The Palm T5 does not come with a cradle. This kit is a nice solution to the problem. The Palm fits very easily into the cradle and I have had no problems at all charging and synchronizing. The kit also comes with adaptors so that you can use the cradle in Europe. I have not had a chance to try this feature but it seems quite easy to switch between different plug configurations. Rated the items 5 stars, but have not had a chance to test it as my LifeDrive has not yet arrived. The rating is based on price/features. This is the same drive Palm is selling. While the title suggests it is for the Tungsten T5, the packaging confirms it is compatible with the Tungsten E2, T5 and LifeDrive. I got this cradle exactly on Black Friday; but I asked my dad to sent it to me after Christmas season (so it wouldn't be lost in the mail) and I got it in perfect condition! It is great! I love the light! In fact, I leave it on the whole night even when my TE2 is not plugged in! Palm needs to make a cradle that fits a little better. I use a T5 and TX and find that neither one actually seats that well in the cradle. I purchased 2 and believe it is just a relatively poor design by palm. The price was great from seller making me feel a OK about the purchase.
