I've had one of these babies living in my pants pocket for most of a year, commuting from home to work, plugging into a PC and a mac, shuttling important data back and forth. It works fine, fits into tight spaces without getting in the way of other plug ins, and has a nice little red LED light that tells me when it's "thinking." Other flash drives have gimmicks or weird shapes. This one is nice and simple and works great. Other reviewers who broke theirs must have been playing hockey with them. I just wanted something to download my pictures to, like an insurance policy, in case my computer crashes. I'm not a computer nerd, just a 67 year old grandma. The PNY flash drive seems the perfect solution for me. It's totally user-friendly (a big necessity), holds all my pictures, is permanent and takes up no space (in fact I spent days looking for it when I wanted to update it). I highly recommend it. I really didn't know what this was until a gal in walmart told me about it since it was on sale for $18(day after Thanksgiving!). I bought one and loaded up a ton of pics from my pc and it was so easy. Wish I could find another one for that price! Only thing is the cover is plastic and kinda cheap but who cares. It does it's job and I don't wear it or carry it around so it's safe. Would by again.Customer Review: rock solid

i bought this thing b/c the guy at the store said his buddy ran it through the washer and it still worked. at the time, it sounded ridiculous, but i bought it anyways. since then, i have forgotten and left it in my shorts about a dozen times through both washer AND dryer. never a hitch. it may not be fast, it may not be cool, but if you want the data on it to stay around, the thing is solid.Customer Review: almost perfect

this is my first flashdrive and i've owned it since 2006. it loads so easily into my computer (and others), and it works for macs too. the reason its not perfect is because a few months ago the chip broke away from the plastic and was exposed. but i fixed that with some superglue. and yes its very small, even more so than i thought. buy one of these, you won't be sorry!
