I bought this and it really works!! The lock switch went on a few too many times, then I tore that off!!! :((( Now my computer cannot move/ write files on the card!! **** Be watchfull!! My camera (Cannon Powershot A-520) never told me that the card was locked, and when I went to download the pictures to my laptop the pictures DIDN'T appear!!

The card works as advertised, which doesn't include it's speed. It's not a fast card. But for general everyday use, you can't beat the price. For more demanding photography, I would recommend a faster card.Customer Review: Two out of three were defective

I bought the three-pack of the PNY Optima SD 60x 2GB cards. One card loaded up with pictures just fine and used the whole 2GB. I tried to load pictures on the other two cards and got about 70-100MB loaded on each of them and then they wouldn't take any more, giving this error: "Cannot copy [filename]: The directory or file cannot be created." I talked to a technician at the Geek Squad and she said a number of these have been returned with the same problem. I will be returning these and exchanging them for another brand.Customer Review: Little use for this usb

This product is advertised as compatible for palm products and when I plugged it into the device, it wasn't even recognized. So don't buy a 2gb memory card for a Palm Tungsten, it won't work.Customer Review: Not very happy with this product

I am not a tech person, but I am also not completely useless. I have three cards I use for my palm pilot and two digital cameras. I have been very unhappy with this product. The other two cards are not PNY. This card seems to work fine in the camera and palm pilot, but will not work when I plug it into the SD slot in either of our laptops. It just locks up the computers for a while then asks if the card should be formated. Clicking "yes" or "no" does not help. I get a message that it cannot be formated. I am sure it is the card since the same thing happens on different computers. Like another reviewer, I, unfortunately, threw the packaging away because it appeared to work in the camera. I even tried to have the camera format it. It just can't be read by the computers. None of the other cards have this problem. I can't return it and it certainly isn't working properly. I would recommend buying a different brand.
** I am updating this review. I contacted PNY and after several weeks of negotiating and going through different checks they asked me to do, they replaced this card with one that works great. It could have been easier, but at this point, I would change my rating to three stars because they stood by their product. I would not rate it higher because of the hassel and failure to work.
