After checking other mount specs I decided on the PDR mod # 3760 to hold up my new 52" Sony. The guage and quality of the mount is superb.
After hanging the mount on the wall I checked to see how strong it was and I honestly think I could hang my quad on it.
Once I found the center of my studs I marked the first hole, drilled and started a lag bolt about 3/4 of it's length. I placed the level on top of the mount to get it level and then drilled the second hole. Once both lag bolts were in enough so the mount would move but not be sloppy I put the level back on top and tightened both top lag bolts. I then drilled the bottom holes and installed the bottom lag bolts. It was solid as a rock. Using this method makes it an easy one man job installing the mount.

If you have a stud finder and a drill, this is an easy installation. If not, I highly recommend pilot holes to ensure you mount this to a stud. All told, I used this to mount a 52" LCD and it has worked well. It is close to the wall but leaves just enough space so that HDMI or other connecting cords fit properly. Depending on TV size, there is some flexibility in lateral placement to help make sure everything is centered just right. As mentioned by many others, you will almost certainly want/need two people to lift the TV onto the mounted bracket. The best thing I can say about this product is that if I ever buy another flat panel, I will also buy one of these mounts. Got this wall mounting product for my 52" LCD TV. Bought the TV before the wall mounting bracket. I patiently waited till i got the bracket delivered. Saw same type of product @ the electronics store for $200, got this @ Amazon for $100. Can't beat the price. This product is very sturdy & is holding my TV up on the wall very well. I asked my cousin, who is a handyman, to do the installation. The locking mechanism is a good addition to the product so the TV, for some reason, could not be lifted or removed from the wall mount easily. Been telling my friends about it. We ordered two 3760T PDR mounts for Samsung 52" and 40" TVs, and are very pleased with them. They are solidly built, were easy to install, and the TVs fit onto them easily. We slightly tilted both mounts because the TVs are slightly above eye level, and the tilt feature worked fine for us on both mounts. They are also a great value for such solid construction, especially with the rebate offers. Thanks Amazon for bundling PDR mounts with the Samsung TVS through the rebate offer, because they fit hand in glove together.Customer Review: Works great!

It is really a 2-man job but with a little care I installed this unit and my 46 inch JVC on the wall in my bedroom; it works great. This unit allows you to tilt the tv if desired which I find handy when my 2-year old granddaughter visits. It hasn't fallen off the wall yet (knock on wood) so I must have done a good job. This is a very sturdy unit and will hold a 52 inch Samsung LNA650 which I plan to upgrade to in the near future. It was not difficult to install.
