This is my first HDTV wall mount. I am using it with a Samsung 52 inch LCD display. The product is surprisingly easy to assemble and use.
First you need to use a stud finder to locate a suitable mounting position. Then, using two people, hold up the back piece and mark the four holes to be drilled. A socket wrench or similar tool is needed to install the bolts into the wall (they're bolts, not screws).
Once the wall piece is in place, you just screw on the two tilting pieces to the back of the HDTV. PDR includes a wide variety of screws, so you should be set with just about any flat-screen HDTV. Then you lift the HDTV up and hook the tilting pieces onto the back piece, insert the lock bar behind it, and you're pretty much done.
I found the default tilt to be fine, but it's not that hard to loosen the knobs and set a better position. I admit that upward tilting would be a nice feature, but its absence is no great loss. Once installed, the HDTV can we adjusted laterally to a certain extent (i.e. sliding it left or right), but I prefer to keep mine fairly centered.
This is a great, sturby product. I called PDR's customer service with a rebate question and they were extremely helpful.

I just finished a call to PDR for technical support regarding the installation of my 3760T mount (their website address is on the product). Not only was I impressed with the quick response to my initial call, but also with the fact that the rep was familiar with the 42" Hitachi plasma television that I also purchased from Amazon. More about the plasma mounting receiver on the television than the 3760T mount (the mounting instruction pamphlet is pretty straightforward if you are thinking about installing it yourself), his answer and suggestions gave me the confidence to continue with my own installation. At the end of our conversation he even reminded me to avail myself of the rebate - which I had forgotten about completely! It's really nice to know that there are still companies who believe in their products enough that they will go the extra yard to make you a believer too. Just installed my new Samsung LN46A650 using this mount on to the Crate & Barrel Loop Media furniture. This mounting unit is very well built and solid. What's more is that it came with a whole bunch of bolts of varying lengths, plastic spacers and washers. Definitely a good product made by people who have pride in their product. The only thing I regret is not buying the fixed mount and saving $50. There is nothing wrong with the tilting mechanism, I just realized that I would not be using it, since the viewing angle of my Samsung is so wide.
My one question to the other owners of this mounting unit is "did you guys use the plastic spacers or not?" I used it because I didn't want the back of my TV damages by the vertical hooks. The spacers were nice but I was also thinking does it prevent the bolts from not screwing into the TV far enough? I may be just being paranoid.

This mount is very very well made and incredibly solid. When I felt the weight of it in the box I sensed quality. It has more than enough holes and perforations to accomodate even the most picky installer and there is lots of lateral and up-down movement to play with. The lateral movement can be made easily with the tv installed (even my Samsung 53" LCDTV) by just sliding it, but if you want to lower or raise the tv (if you decide once the tv is hung) then you have to take the tv off the mount and relocate the two hanger brackets which attach to the back of your TV. It has minimal protrusion from the wall for a tilt mount and it is easy to install once you locate the closest wall studs. Comes with a nice easy to install lock bar to deter theft (locks not included). All in all a nice piece of well designed well thought out equipment, made in the U.S. too.Customer Review: Heavy duty, easy install, made in USA

I used this to hang my 58" Samsung PN58A650 Plasma television.
The first thing I noticed right away is the heavy gauge construction!
The mount was very easy to attach to the wall (I got all four bolts into studs too!). Attaching to the back of the TV was easy too, however, the bolts weren't quite right for my TV, luckily, my TV came with some spacers, and once those were in place, all worked out OK.
Once the mount was attached to the wall and the back of the TV, it was a snap to put the TV in place.
I really like the idea of the security bar too.
A very well constructed and MADE IN USA product. If you're going to spend a couple thousand dollars on a TV, make sure to mount it with something strong.
