Customer Review: my HD is alot more clear
Summary: 5 Stars

This device fixed the weak signal. With HD box sometimes I would get fuzzy picture, lost sound, picture freezes, and even lost of certain channels. My original setup consist of 3 different splitters. The best signal only went to the 1st splitter. After installing this 8 port splitter, I noticed a huge improvement on my HD channels and even TVs w/ out HD are clear too. I recommend this product to anyone that is using more that 1 splitter.

Works w/ cable modem but since there is no active return my upstream power level is at 61dBmV. Which is over the recommended causing my modem to work alot harder sending the signal back. I decided to go w/ the Electroline EDA-FT08300 8 Port.

Now I know how stores get their TV on display so clear!!!

Customer Review: Goodbye Snow!
Summary: 5 Stars

Awesome. I had been watching snowy TVs on the third floor of my house and in one room in the front of the house for over a year when I came across this product and all of the positive posts. So I ordered it, though it was a little expensive for me. It was so worth it.

It took around 15 minutes to go outside, unhook the traditional splitters, hook this up to 7 cable wires and screw it to the house. First I looked at the TVs w/o using the plug adapter, and it did not work, they were all snowy. As soon as I plugged it in.... Viola! Crystal clear pictures on every TV in the house. I even feel like my internet is faster (one of my lines is to the modem), but not sure if that is possible. I am very happy with this purchase.

Customer Review: Awesome Results
Summary: 5 Stars

After having intermittent problems with my cable, ( no signal at times on various channels and poor reception ) I finally decided to try this amplifier. Just happened that the day that I received the amplifier my cable was acting up again. I immediately when up in the attic and installed this amp and tuned the TV to one of the problem channels, Problem solved! Just a note: the cable company had split my cable outside of my home, one split to my internet connection and one up into the attic for my TV's. The TV line was again split with a four-way splitter with one additional two-way splitter coming off the four-way splitter. From everything that I have read, you lose signal strength at each split. I currently have five TV's and this product delivered.

Customer Review: Works great and 12 VDC capable.
Summary: 5 Stars

A simple review, but works excellent and can be powered from 12 VDC battery source during power loss.

If you have an extended power outage and a Axion AXN-8701 7-Inch Widescreen Handheld LCD TV with Built-In Tuner, Black, connecting to an external antenna with decent gain gives us clear HD for some stations 50 miles away. Very handy combination when Snowstorms here in NW GA killed DISH usability with power gone.

As a "Ham" of many decades, I have a deep cycle 12 VDC battery in the cellar with a run upstairs to the Ham equipment and used it to power the TV and the TV Amp discussed here.

Customer Review: Excllent performance
Summary: 5 Stars

A simple and effective amplifer. Due to too many flat screens and wifi router needs my cable provider suggested that I might just need to rent a splitter amp for 17 USD a month. We chose the don't rent the cow, buy it concept.
The DC power is run out to the amp via its own dedicated coaxial cable (not included). This is a neat idea, but could spell trouble if someone at a later date wants to to add a port. They could easily tap the DC power thinking it was the cable signal coax. My power coax has "Danger Power" ID at 2.5'.
One additional tip, you have VoIP (voice over internet protocol) you should use a digital quality splitter in front of the input on the amp. My VoIP does not like or need this amp.
