Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of 4 PORT CABLE TV / HDTV / DIGITAL AMPLIFIER INTERNET MODEM SIGNAL BOOSTER INTERNET AMPCustomer Review: Works as expected; a little steep pricewise Summary: 5 Stars
This is not standard Radio Shack. Quality all the way. I have a bad cable signal. This little amp helped somewhat. Found 3 new channels. With decent cables, just maybe I will have a great picture. The unit can not work miracles; but I am very pleased. I think this amp would be perfect for multiple TV's or long cable runs. As for making a bad signal good; I just don't think it was made for that. Something about a silk purse out of a Sow's ear.
Customer Review: Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
Bought this to help pick up some stations that my over the air tv antenna was not picking up. It accomplished that and more. I actually picked up several more stations that I didn't expect. It was easy to hook up. It boosted channels that I already had and picked up those I was looking for, and picked up ones I didn't expect to get. I also split my signal to three different tv's and this made it easy. I would recommend this product to anyone.
Customer Review: Wow what a difference Summary: 5 Stars
The cable running in my home is messed up and its hard to get a decent signal in one room. I had an amplifier from radio shack but the picture was still mediocre. Replacing with this amplifier not only do I get a far superior picture, I am picking up 6 digital channels as well. Some of the digital channels appear like everchanging jigsaw puzzles, but that is not the appliances fault, rather its' Comcasts lightning fast cable.
Customer Review: Great for distributing antenna signals Summary: 5 Stars
Before we purchased this amplifier we were able to receive channels from 120 miles away if we plugged the antenna directly into the TV, but the signals were cut drastically if we put a splitter in to hook up a second TV. With this we have successfully split our signal throughout our house. I don't have any other amplifiers to compare the actual gain, but it has worked for what we needed it for.
Customer Review: excellent performance with Winegard HD7694P antenna Summary: 5 Stars
After installing this amplifier, Windows Media Centers indicated that many channels (stations located at about 55 miles) have signal strength of 5 bars (instead of 3) and 6 bars (instead of 4); 6 bars is maximum. (The antenna is located in the attic). I am now getting channels, which, according to tvfool, have negative NM(dB); to pick up a station, the noise margin (NM) has to be greater than 0.
