This item came with a kit from paladin. I lent my tools to some one and when they returned them the first section of the blade was chipped. A small chuck of the blade was gone, rendering half the blade useless. So I used the other half for several months until I tried to cut a fiber optic cable that had a thick metal cable in it as well as fiber. This caused the other half of the blade to chip and now the cutters are useless. So I guess they would have been fine had I not tried to cut thick metal wire, but still I would have hoped they would be stronger.
