It does give that soft glow, what I really needed. I shot within four feet, and no evident hard flash, and those annoying red eyes NO MORE! I will buy a better quality next time, really don't want to be seen with a cheap plastic thing wrapped around my flash. It's $13, you can't go wrong. I'm all about efficiency and quality....I mean we're budding photographers so who wants (or can afford) to spend gobs of money on lighting/diffusion...not me! Not a single bad thing to say. Stores easily, doesnt allow and raw flash forward. gives the result of natural light. I freaking love this thing and my only regret is not buying it years ago. I was surprised when I opened it, I thought ti could not be what was in the picture. It assembled easily, fits great, and the results were very noticable. I'll never use a "naked' flash again! I am using an Olympus E520 with a FL-36 flash.Customer Review: Great Buy!!!

I bought 2 of these! I misplace things some times lol. This is great for getting soft effects from that hard, unflattering on camera flash! good idea to grab a few if your are like me. lol
