This light diffuser works great. I found that even with it on there were still shadows against a light background. But, when I bounced the flash against the wall or ceiling there was little to no shadow. The only thing that is a negative is that even though a rubber band thing comes with it that is supposed to ensure that it stays on the flash it often comes off when you move the flash around a lot. But for the price it is a very nice product.Customer Review: Great lighting for what it is.

I was looking for something that was small and portable but would give me a bit softer light that the sto fen diffuser on my 580ex II. I've been very happy with the results this gives and for the price you can't go wrong. The little rubber band broke after about 6 months of use, but I just found an o-ring at OSH and it works just as well. It looks cheap, feels cheap, and is cheap, but the results are great.Customer Review: Does the job

Folds up flat for storage. Quickly attaches via velcro strap. A large "rubber band" is placed on the flash to give it an edge to hold to so it doesn't slip off which is nice because others often require you to attach velcro to your flash head. The diffusion is good and the box is just small enough to where it doesn't block the AF assist beam. I'm not sure what people are expecting from a $13 item but this is better than any stofen or plastic cap. It diffuses the light real well and installs easily. I had no issues with the velcro at all. Combine this guy with an off shoe flash cord and you can do some wonderful things. Excellent item for the price and a quick solution for the photographer on the move. This product diffuses light wonderfully. I got it to use during a wedding reception and it spread the light out evenly and it wasn't harsh at all. You need to be gently on the loops that secure the velcro strap. I pulled a little too hard away from the material and broke two of them off. Other than that, the product held firm without falling off. I highly recommend this.
