I am relatively new to advanced photography and as with anyone cannot afford High end merchandise out of the gate I work and have a family. I recently purchased a Canon digital eos 1000d with 18-55 lens and then ordered a 50-250 lens from amazon, the lense is a 5 star in itself, but back to the battery, The life of the battery is far passed that of the standard canon battery, with flash and shooting in RAW mode i can obtain on average 750-1000 good shots with a 2 second review on the LCD. This sounds extreme and I wouldn't believe it if I had witnessed this myself. Why spend 60 dollars US money on something that can be bought for a fraction, Quality 5-star other than the labeling you cannot tell this battery from the original counterpart.Fit 5 star I was initially concerned that the battery from other reviews read may not fit properly in my XS 1000d but found that the battery fits just as good as my canon. Shipping 5 star ups delivered no problems and on time.bonuses included a lens cloth an adapter for out of country charging (car charger that actually works and works well!) and a whisp brush for dusting purposes. all this made the price something to laugh at I would highly recommend this product to anyone strapped for cash like me. in fact my second order of another battery and lens hood is waiting for me at home when I get off delivered on time yet again. Thanks amazon and I hope others will find this review helpful and will sway from the fact that Canon in all its overpriced glory isn't stamped on it. You wont be dissapointed.
