So, it works well with my Sony TV which was made in 1996.
With this remote I can use all functions of the TV including menu control, auto channel setting, etc.
Using shift key could be kinda tricky, but that's not a big problem.
Pleased with this.

Bought this for a friend that has trouble with anything more complex than a blow dryer :) It took a few trys to get it programmed with the right code for her (really) old Zenith TV but it took me all of about 10 minutes to program. Cheaper, heavy duty piece of technology. Why I have to expend more money at any retail store?, Here I got a great selection and good prices to choose. I feel excited because I'd saved almost 15 dollars just in one product.
