It is definitely a mount worth buying. The directions were too simple. I had to download information directly from Omnimount which provided better visuals and instructions. The best way to mount is to remove the arms first and attach the wall plate. Make sure you have studs 16" apart or this mount is not for you. Once attached to the wall, the rest is a breeze. The T.V. looks wonderful and can be adjusted to any position. I live in California and have no worries about it falling off the wall during an earthquake.Customer Review: Well made, high quality mount

I was nervous about spending almost $300 on this mount(yep, the prices fluctuate a lot, and I really got a good deal!). In the retail outlets, it's nearly $600. But I wanted a high quality mount to hang my Sony 46XBR4. I was really impressed with the sturdiness of the entire device, the quality of the fittings, decorative covers and vast number of TV's it can support. Instructions are good, kind of sparse, but are very pictorial and support dozens of languages. If I had to buy another one, I'd buy this.Customer Review: Rock solid TV mount

This mount is everything it is made out to be - a good, solid, easy to install TV mount. The instructions were straightforward, they provide tons of different screws and bolts that will allow it to fit virtually any TV made, and it easily handles my 100 pound set. The only issue I had with it was that one of the plastic wire covers was broken when I received mine. Not a big deal - it is hidden behind the set and could be glued together if need be. Was all I expected and more.
Definetly a two man job to mount.
Amazon price and shipping where fantastic.
It arrived in 2 days. I expected it would take a week.
Make sure the template is securly attached to the wall before you
start. The 2 black covers, one on each side, provide enough room
for a 2 gang outlet, one on each side. However if you run composit cables, you will have to cable tie them to the side rails. Perfect for HDMI and optical cables.

All the other reviews from Amazon convinced me to purchase this unit. The silver unit was significantly cheaper than the black. It does not show in my situation so I saved the $$. Excellent mount, easy to install, and performs as advertised. The directions were not the best, but the set up and mounting is fairly straight forward. I have a 52" Sony mounted on this unit and it is very solid. Movement is easy and steady out to full extension. EXCELLENT PRODUCT.
