Great mount. Shipping was very quick. OmniMount makes very good products. This is my second mount from them (My first holds a 42" with full motion with no problems. I have had it for about 3 yrs). Only thing is make sure you have everything included when you order it. I opened this one and it did not include the extension bracket and my instructions noted "bracket not included". Which I think you need for most of the bigger flat screens (My TV was a 55" Vizio). I was lucky because my first mount I purchased had one and I did not need it for my 42" TV. So make sure this is included, it attaches to the metal plate and extends to reach the holes in the back of the TV, essentially connecting the TV to the mount, at least for my TV I brought.Customer Review: This Is One Sturdy Mount

This item arrived quickly. It is super heavy and strong. It holds my 90+ pound 52 inch Sony Bravia lcd flat screen, I purchased on Amazon, with amazing ease. The directions where easy to understand, came with all the necessary hardware nicely packaged, and when I called the company for customer service they were spot on. The materials this company uses for this mount are first rate and the finish is very clean and tough. The mount has some flexibility when it comes to maneuvering, but make sure you mount it at the height you want it, because the mount does not tilt upwards very much. I'm pretty sure that if there is an earthquake, and my house is damaged, the OmniMount will still be supporting the flat screen, it's that sturdy.Customer Review: Very sturdy and well designed unit

This is a very strong mount which must weight 25-30lbs itself. It consists of two sections. The wall mount which has the arms attached to it and the TV mount which has horizontal and vertical rails for mounting to the TV. The wall mount uses 6, 1/2" bolts. There are two large cutouts for running cable in the wire if desired. The TV mount side has rack slide vertical members so it can be mounted on virtually any TV. It also comes with a wide variety of screws for mounting to various TV's. The TV with the mount attached can be temporarily hung on the wall mount and then the screws attaching the two tightened up. This makes mounting a heavy TV up high easier. All in all a well thought out unit.Customer Review: OmniMount; excellent!

This mount is a sturdy and versatile mount. Don't buy it at Ultimate, Best Buy or Circuit City you will pay 2/3 more than here. I got mine here at Amazon for $273, no tax or shipping! I know some folks complained of the bolts breaking but if you use the correct tools and don't over torque, the bolts will not break!
I highly recommend this mount for your larger TV's ~ lots of positions can be obtained with unit.
UPDATE: 9/14/08 ~ The large, expensive Sony we bought has been hung with this mount now for several months. Bolts holding just fine folks! The versatality of the positions you can get with this mount is outstanding. Highly recommended folks!

Purchased the OmniMount to hang the 50" TH50pz750U Panasonic Plasma we got for Christmas. The first was returned by UPS to Amazon for damage in transit, but Amazon issued me a $35 credit to expedite shipping of the second unit to get it here by Christmas (the call back feature of Amazon customer service is great). The mount itself is incredibly strong and maneuverable. Installation took about an hour with the wife and was much less complicated than it appeared when you first open the box. I would recommend this wall mount to anyone wanting a strong, good looking and flexible mounting system. You can't go wrong for the price.
