Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of OmniMount Stainless Steel 20.0 Wall Speaker Mount (Black - 20 lb)Customer Review: A little expensive, but works great. Summary: 4 Stars
These mounts work great for the 8 lb NHT Absolute Zero speakers hanging from them. Once attached to the wall (into a stud) they feel very solid. The only minor issue is getting the wrench between the speaker and wall when trying to tighten the screw. Fortunately this only needs to be done once (or twice if adjustments are needed) when installing.
Customer Review: Good universal speaker mounts Summary: 4 Stars
These mounts worked perfectly for my surround sound rear speakers. Not all parts depicted in the illustrations were provided, but enough for my application. The instructions were very small print and not the best, but were adequate. I would recommend them. Not sure what the long term service will be from them, but they seem to be well constructed.

Speaker rated for 20lb but seems to be less capable.
over priced also. I had no other choice so I had to buy it.

They are nice looking mounts but too expensive for two metal pieces
Customer Review: They sure are pretty . . . Summary: 3 Stars
Boy, when I took these out of the packaging, I really liked how pretty they looked! But, after hanging them on the wall, the "pretty" factor wore off quick. I followed all the directions, have them mounted to studs, and hung a pair of KRK Rokit 5's, weighing 13 pounds 12 ounces.
They sag. I can get the ball in the socket tightened up so the monitors don't slip, but they still sag. And here's where the trouble starts.
If you tighten down the allen screw per the instructions, the plastic ball becomes PERMANENTLY indented. So, if you try to re-align the speakers to accommodate for the sag, as you re-tighten the allen screw, the ball slips happily back into the indentation. Result - you're right back to the sag position.
I worked for over two hours trying different ways to overcome this problem. The left hand monitor now looks okay. But I cannot get the right speaker to hang the way I'd like it to. I'll try at least one more time to fix it.
These are good looking, and most likely would hold speakers up to 10 pounds, as some reviewers have stated. Maybe they would hold 12 pounds. They might even hold 13 pounds. But add those extra 12 ounces or so, and these babies will sag!
